What is the SAT/ACT? How do I choose the right college? What is a personal essay and why do colleges want one?
Tokyo Academics has years of experience working with students in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere, and we are launching a series of seminars to share with you what we've learned. In particular, the US college application process can seem quite complex, and we want to help our community understand each part of the path forward.
This free series of seminars is perfect for:
Current high schoolers (and their families) who are intending on applying to the US and want to make sure they understand the process
Families of middle schoolers who are figuring out their options and want to know more about what lies ahead
Anyone who would like to know more about what this process looks like
The seminars will take place every few weeks, and will cover the following topics:
Sunday, October 22, 2017: Planning For & Understanding the SAT/ACT & SAT Subject Tests
Sunday, November 12, 2017: Identifying Personal Goals and How to Build a College List
Sunday, January 14, 2018: Determining Your Summer Plan and Developing Your Child's X-Factor
